Ramsey Lewis in 2010 after his concert at the Clinton Presidential Library. He’s
holding my 3rd CD “Third Time’s a Charm.” The first track on it is my arrangement of “The In Crowd.” The second
is my arrangement of “Wade in the Water.” Ramsey Lewis won a Grammy for “The In Crowd” in the 60’s. He is
an inspiration to me and is my favorite pianist. Received a call from him 2 months later, had a great conversation
with him, and was happy to hear that he liked these arrangements and many others on the CD. Made my day!
